How we can help
We generally work with clients in three ways. A diagnostic audit that provides you a map of what to fix first, project builds that deliver a solution to a specific problem, and embedded leadership for when you need a senior operator to focus on a particular business area over time. Venture, separately, is what we build ourselves.
Three ways to work together, from a short diagnostic to a standing seat at the table. Most engagements start with the Audit and deepen as the case becomes clear. You don't have to. If you already know you need a senior operator, start there.
We also build our own AI products in a separate studio. See what we're building →
A natural starting point
Readiness Audit
Before you decide where to invest more, find out what's actually blocking you from reaching your potential. The Readiness Audit is a diagnostic of your operational and commercial architecture: where you stand, what the friction is costing you, and the order to address it. You leave with a scorecard, an annual cost-of-friction number your CFO can act on, and a prioritised roadmap.
Fixed fee. Four to eight weeks. If we can't find potential savings that exceed the cost of the audit, you pay nothing.
Project Builds
Builds either shore up your foundation or add new capabilities on top of it. There are two kinds, and which you need depends on the state of your foundation.
System of Record Reset
A focused clean-up of your existing CRM: rationalised fields, redesigned pipeline stages, and a hygiene standard that holds. The system becomes a source of truth your team can rely on.
Commercial Data Layer
A unified data layer that pulls CRM, ERP, marketing, and finance into one place, so cross-system reporting and downstream AI have something reliable to work with.
First-Party Data
A marketing data strategy for the AI era. As AI spreads, third-party data will cease to be a competitive advantage. Your own first-party data, deployed well, is the edge that remains.
Stack Rationalisation
An audit of the commercial software and agency stack against actual usage, with a plan to cut, consolidate, and stop the spend from re-accumulating.
Agency Review
An independent read on your agency roster: what each delivers, what it costs, and where coordination is leaking value. You leave knowing what to keep, renegotiate, consolidate, or bring in-house, and how to get your agencies pulling in one direction.
Customer-Facing AI
A single validated customer-facing use case taken to production. Sales qualification, lead enrichment, support triage, with monitoring tied to a real business result.
Internal AI Workflow
The same approach applied inside the business: document processing, invoice flows, or another internal process, taken from concept to production against a defined outcome.
AI Measurement & ROI Framework
Closes the loop between AI activity and business outcome. Every initiative is mapped to a P&L line, with monitoring of activity, cost, and value, so your CFO can answer the AI-ROI question with verified numbers.
Embedded Leadership
Sometimes the gap isn't a project, it's a seat. When you need senior operational and commercial leadership inside the business rather than beside it, we take a defined mandate and own the outcome. The responsibility of a full-time hire, without the permanence. It's often where the most value is created, and you can start here directly.
Fractional
Senior leadership embedded in your team at a defined cadence, accountable for outcomes the way a full-time hire would be. The difference is the time commitment, not the level of ownership.
Typical roles: Fractional COO, CMO/CRO, AI lead, or similar.
Interim
Full-time executive capacity for a defined period, covering a turnaround, parental leave, or a transition. Full operational authority within the mandate, with a structured handover at the end.
Typical mandates: turnaround, parental leave, transformation, scale-up, or similar.
Board
Non-executive collaboration at board level. For companies professionalising governance, or boards adding digital and AI competence where an independent perspective strengthens the decisions.
Typical roles: independent board member, board observer, advisory board chair, or similar.
How engagements typically work
It starts with a conversation. We agree on the question worth answering, scope the work to a fixed shape, and tell you plainly if we're not the right fit.
First call
We work out whether there's a real problem here, and whether we're the ones to solve it. No pitch, no commitment, just a conversation.
Scope
A fixed shape where we define what's included, what it costs, and the milestones that mark it done. We'll work out the details together.
Delivery
Senior-led from start to finish. The person you meet in these first steps is the person who does the work.
